Physiotherapy and Sports Massage
Laure graduated from the University of East London with a BSc in physiotherapy in 2009. She has previously worked as a physiotherapist in a hospital setting providing primary care within the NHS, before moving into private practice in independent physiotherapy clinics. During this time Laure gained a great deal of experience and expertise.
Laure has a special interest in the management of musculoskeletal conditions, postural dysfunction, orthopaedics, rehabilitation, and the treatment of sports injuries. She offers a hands-on therapeutic treatment approach using techniques such as soft tissue and joint mobilisation, dry needling, and taping. Post-treatment, Laure can help ensure the effective recovery and management of a condition by prescribing a tailored rehabilitation exercise program.
Prior to become a physiotherapist, Laure worked in the fitness industry as a freelance personal trainer and sports masseuse for 10 years. During that time, she encountered many common sports injuries and was regularly working closely with physiotherapists and chiropractors to help enhance her clients’ recovery. This is what inspired her to become a physiotherapist herself.
Laure is a native French speaker from Bordeaux. When not practicing, she enjoys travelling with her family and keeping fit.
