LicAc. Dip.Nat. MBAcC. MANP.

I’m a qualified acupuncture practitioner and naturopath. I trained for 5 years at the College of Naturopathic Medicine in Traditional Chinese Medicine style acupuncture, an evidence based system of medicine in use around the world for more than 2,000 years and recognised by the World Health Organisation. TCM Acupuncture is used not just for injuries/pain but a wide range of health issues.

My interest in natural forms of medicine began many years ago when I saw the powerful effect it had on family members. Acupuncture is part of a whole range of natural ways we can ensure that we stay healthy.  Naturopathy includes a range of ways to allow the body to natural embrace its power to restore health, such as nutrition, supplements and lifestyle advice.

Our physical health is important but I’m also passionate about mental health and sit on the committee of a mental health resource group for a large City multinational.

Chinese Medicine and martial arts are closely related and I have practised Yang style Tai Chi and Qi Gong for several years.  I am also a long term yoga practitioner and collaborate in teacher training, working with the acupuncture meridians in yoga poses to access the physical mental and emotional benefits.

Patient safety and comfort is key, so it’s important when choosing an acupuncturist to ensure they are properly trained, licenced and insured.
