Daniele is originally from Italy where he achieved two BSc degrees in Physiotherapy and Sport Science, and gained valuable experience working in hospitals and gyms. He moved to London in 2014 and achieved an MSc degree in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy from King’s College London.
During my time in London I have been consistently building my skills in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and sports medicine. I have a hunger for knowledge, and continue to push myself and keep my expertise up-to-date through self-study, post-graduate courses and professional challenges.
I have recently (2019) studied acupuncture and have qualified as a full member of the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).
Throughout my career, I have successfully treated a wide range of problems in heterogeneous patient populations, from teenagers to pregnant women, from young adults to seniors. My background in sport has also given me the opportunity to help athletes of every discipline, including running, cycling, rowing, dance, rugby, hockey, cricket and football.
I face and manage many different types of complaints, from simple soft tissue and muscle injuries to severe nerve pain, including more complex scenarios such as chronic pain presentations. I work by breaking down a problem into variables that are easy to understand for the client. I always inform my clients of the nature of their injury, the treatment options available, and the likely recovery time. I like working in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere, respecting client’s individuality and establishing a therapeutic relationship with them. I believe that this relationship is key to achieve successful outcomes in therapy. I use manual therapy as an essential part of my everyday work, being proficient with mobilisation techniques, spinal manipulative therapy, trigger point and massage. I use taping techniques to promote tissue healing and decrease pain. I have experience in using one-to-one Pilates to improve core and pelvis strength. I have robust skills in strength, conditioning and endurance training to support athletes and help them to quickly return to sport.
At Lloyd’s Wellbeing Centre, I can empower you to control and manage your pain and help you to improve your wellbeing.

A little bit more about me… I have been passionate about health, sport and fitness since my childhood and I enjoy practising sport in my free time, especially high intensity training, running and weight training. I speak English, Italian and Spanish. As every respectable Italian, I love cooking and eating good food. Finally, I spend most of my holidays travelling the world and discovering new places.
